Felicia Kurz has been the Intake Coordinator for Shoreline Psychological since June 2024. She has her Master’s in Criminal Justice, as well as her bachelors in Psychology and English. She previously worked for the State of CT Department of Social Services for 6 years as a direct service employee. She helped low income families who were on SNAP, medicaid and cash programs. She supported those who were in crisis. Her other past employers include Electric Boat. There she worked in the Finance Department. She has also worked as a court and shelter advocate for the Women’s Center of SECT. She has previously interned in school systems with psychologists and counselors. She is passionate in helping others and loves being that first point of warm, welcoming contact. She decided to become a stay at home mom in 2020 when COVID hit. After being home for 4 years, she felt that it was time to go back to work. She was excited to join Shoreline Psychological and knew that it would be the best place for her to work. She has enjoyed being part of a place that promotes meaningful change. Outside of her job, she loves spending time with her husband, 3 kids, and 2 dogs. They all enjoy the beach, going camping, and vacationing in Disney. She is actively involved in her community, whether it is coaching her children’s baseball team, being the Secretary of her town’s soccer club and/or volunteering to be the Classroom Mom at her children’s school.
