Katelynn Altieri, LCSW

Clinical Social Worker

Katelynn joins Shoreline Psychological as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, specializing in working with children and families. Katelynn specializes in treating anxiety, trauma, autism spectrum disorder, behavioral challenges, and social-emotional difficulties. She utilizes a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach to help clients build coping skills, strengthen relationships, and develop resilience. Her therapeutic style incorporates play therapy techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and the Zones of Regulation framework to help children increase emotional awareness, develop effective coping strategies, and improve self-regulation skills. Katelynn tailors interventions to each child’s developmental level and individual needs, creating an engaging and supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and feel successful. Katelynn is passionate about supporting children and families in building confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being.

Katelynn earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling from Emmanuel College in 2015 and her MSW degree from the University of Connecticut in 2017.  She is currently also employed at Madison Public Schools and lives in Branford with her family.
